> Hello, my name is Randy. My question is how do I convert imported > Adobe Reader PDF files to open office files to be able to edit the > files for my own use and ease of printing. > Thank you. PDF (Portable Document Format) is essentially a read-only format, not designed for editing. While OOo (OpenOffice.org) can generate PDF files, it does not have the ability to import them for editing. A somewhat cumbersome work-around, is to open them in a PDF file reader (eg. Adobe Reader), then copy and paste into OOo Writer. Hope this helps.
