You have made a point that i agree with. OpenOffice.org cannot replace
Microsoft Office.

Why do i agree? Because if OpenOffice.org ever hopes to be better it
must be different, otherwise it is only ever an also-ran product trying
to mimic the real thing. It _has_ to be different to be better - period.

As for macros, somebody had the nous to write them in the first place.
Normal user does not want a VBA macro exactly, he want's something to do
task X. He does not care if the backend is VBA or Star Basic. And many
macros _are_ written for OO.o.

If you have a given macro you wish replaced, someone on this list could
point you to a business that does just that. You could probably get six
macros done for the cost of License savings alone in a small business.

Consequently i do not concur with your conclusion that normal users will
not use OpenOffice.org.
