You have used Microsoft Outlook Express (version 6) to write this email. That is only available from Microsoft Windows - so you need the Windows Version. To explain how it works: When you first start your computer it does a little bit of voodoo from a small memory chip (which thankfully i do not need to explain here) then starts the Operating System. The Operating System (OS for short) is the main Program of your computer which talks to all the solid bits (mouse, keyboard, screen, disks, internet modem, printer). Part of it shows the screen background and all the program icons when it has finished starting. Any other program needs the OS to talk to these solid bits. Your OS is Windows, so you need the OpenOffice.org version which talks to Windows. This explanation may sound over simplistic, it is, but it works with all the seniors i tutor at SeniorNet - so it is not necessarily a childish explanation. -- Michael All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well - Julian of Norwich 1342 - 1416 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
