Hi Joe
The request for a summary in the subject line is just to try to identify
_your_ problem from everyone else's. This is an email list, and it is
no different to putting a "subject" line on your emails.
Then in the body of the message you can explain what the problem is.
You can use any email address you own, but it has to be a "real"
address, otherwise you will not see any responses unless you search the
archives. For best results you should subscribe by sending an email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] You then need to reply to the
confirmation email you will receive. Beware, however, it is a very
active list with up to 100 messages per day.
You can instead use the newsgroup maintained by gmane
(gmane.comp.openoffice.questions)
