I am getting closer, but it still isn't working for me.

Done.

The above instructions is where I think my problem is. I launched ODBCConfig
and configured the drivers. I now have:
Name Description Driver Lib
Setup Lib
SQLite SQLite ODBC Driver /usr/lib/odbc/libsqliteodbc.so
/usr/lib/odbc/libsqliteodbc.so
SQLite SQLite3 ODBC Driver /usr/lib/odbc/libsqlite3odbc.so
/usr/lib/odbc/libsqlite3odbc.so
I did that yesterday and I can't recall now why I have two drivers. I know I
got one of them from the wiki (same as the PDF).
I created the User DSN for my Kexi database and it went OK.

Can you tell me exactly which buttons you used to do this. I still cannot
connect to the Kexi database, but the options in the Base wizard are not
comprehensible to me. Did you start with Create a New Database, Open an
Existing Database, or Connect to an Existing Database? And if I'm supposed to
Connect to an Existing Database, do I select ODBC, or which of the other
options in the drop-down box? I did this and clicked on Next, whereupon I got a
window asking for the "name of the ODBC database on your system." I tried the
browse button, but it opens a window that is blank (file browser function does
not work). I have typed in the Kexi database and path, but that didn't work. Or
should I enter here the User DSN name from ODBCConfig? I tried entering the
name of the User DSN, but that also did not work. Does it need a path?
I think I have all the components and files installed, but there are too many
options with no explanations of what they really do.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm close, but I need step by step instructions.
