Yes, except there is a shortcut for multiple numbers:

1.a Enter your 10 or however many digits in
 .b Click in the square you wish the answer
 .c Look for the greek letter Sigma on the toolbar "?"
    This is the Sum function
    Click it
 .d Highlight the cells you wish to be added up
 .e Tap the [Enter] Key

OR 

2.a Follow steps a and b above.
 .b Type =SUM(a1:b1)
 .c Tap the [Enter] key

SUM is one of the simplest functions in any spreadsheet program. Open
help and do a search on "function" for many more.
