Errm. I think you mean dictionaris for spell checking. I don't think OO has
need of an address book. Or ???

If you uninstall MS Office (I assume you have the trial version running),
then Outlook will not be able to spell check because it uses MS Office's
software and dictionaries to do that.

The following three comments apply to XP. I have not done the research for
Vista as I have no plans for it to enter my world.

1) See
http://forums.techguy.org/business-applications/361332-solved-outlook-express-6-spell.html

2) Also "You can download "Spell Checker for OE 2.1" for Free at the link
below. It's compatable with all versions of Windows.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952"; from
http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6138_102-0.html?forumID=31&threadID=14058&messageID=159207

3) I use ABCSpell (not free) from www.isota.com (I'm not connected to that
company other than as a customer).

I'd be inclined to switch to Thunderbird and see all these problems
disappear at no cost to you. Or Lightning which combines e-mail and calendar
like Outlook does; also free!

I also think the *free* Firefox browser (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/)
beats Internet Explorer hands down but that's off topic ;-)
