I have two windows laptops, one running WinXP-sp2 and one on WinVISTA Home edition. I have an old version on MS_Office (2K) installed on both of them. Will your product run on these machines without causing problems? Or would I need to remove Win_Office 2K first: Tom Shannon
Yes, the current version (2.3.1) of OOo (OpenOffice.org) will run fine on both these machines, provided they meet the system requirements:
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/sys_reqs_20.htmlNo, you do not need to remove any of your installed software to download, install or run OOo.
Goto http://download.openoffice.org/index.html and click on the big green "Download OOo OpenOffice.org" link and the Windows edition (same one for both your laptops) should start downloading automatically. You may also be interested in reading some of the information given in the links on the right hand side of the download page.
