What I have found is that I can import documents from my scanner. It is a
Epson Perfection 4180 scanner. I click picture, then scan. Then I can click
can click select source or request. I have found that I have to use the
request option. The other will not work for me.
I want to say thank you for your help and assistance. I appreciate it a lot.
Sincerely,
Jeff

Barbara,
Is there some way I can use my scanner to scan directly into openoffice?
I use Adobe photoshop CS2 and sometimes I will use the scanner to scan
directly into photoshop. I would like to do the same with open office, if
I could.
Yes, you can scan into OpenOffice. Just click on Insert > Picture > Scan
and go from there.
