I've been thinking about the number of requests we get asking "Where is the program i installed?".
I'm wondering if the packaging team haven't got it backwards. I wonder if it would be easier for those who don't want the icons on the desktop to delete them, rather than to perturb so many newbies that can't find them. Isn't a set of Windows .ico files included anyway, the icons images do exist when you send them to the desktop.
