Why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that if work is done on
interoperability between OpenOffice.oeg and Thunderbird ( Lightning )
that this means one big application out of the two?
Because in the absence of solid information people tend to speculate.
Right now the assumption leans towards one big app. I'd be happy if
that turned out not to be true.
Where has it been said that there has to be ( will be ) one and only
one download file?
A [one big app] implies B [one big download]. Again, we don't have
facts so we're prognosticating.
ISTR, there was some mention a while ago, about improving
interoperability between OOo and Thunderbird. It already works well. So,
just include a link to mozilla.org, with a recommendation for
Thunderbird. Nothing else is required nor desirable.
