SO5.x uses OE as the default email client.
Assuming you haven't moved up to Linux, then you an use whatever you like. :)

True. But the Windows version uses OE. Drove me nuts trying to get it to
use Netscape at the time I was using it. Never did manage to get it
properly installed in linux.

Well, it may not work as well with it as OE, but the price to pay for using anything from the Evil Empire is simply too high! ;)
