This is a little bit weird, since I use Debian GNU/Linux since 1999
starting Slink 2.1 where SO 5.1 and later 5.2 was the only solution
and working perfectly for me...

Maybe you have used the wrog Distribution?

OK, I had problem installing it on DLD (Deutsche Linux Distribution)
which was bought by RedHat since the "perfect" installer was the
"real" they want... Even under RedHat 5.x I was not able to install
SO 5.2. So maybe the wrong distri for it.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
