creating separate page styles e.g. '2-column page' and '3-column

IOW, I would like to put a 3-column block and a 2-column block on
the same page. Would OO make such a simple request impermissible?
Oh, it was a misunderstanding. If you are looking at doing it on the
same page, then you will have to use sections or frames instead.
