This list server should not care where the message comes in from as long as the identity is as above. In fact I'd say it miss-configured if it insists on a match for both sender identity and originating server.
OTOH, the fact that I cannot make the outgoing server used part of the sender identity is also a bug or miss-configuration of kmail-1.9.9. Either way, its a PITA for the user.
