All I know at this point is that if I send it through smtp.gmail.com on port 
587, it works, but if I send through outgoing.verizon.net, it doesn't.

Sorry I'm late responding, we had some noisy weather and were without Reddy 
Kilowatts services for about 3.5 hours.
