Hello, I use the OpenOffice.org Aqua 3.0.0 beta version on my Macbook pro with Leopard and it works just fione (even if it isn't yet the official release, expected in September). For a fully tested version, you have to use the X11 or XQuartz windowing program that is installed by defaylt on your Leopard (10.5.x), but this new XQuartz utility still has a lot of flaws and that meses up OOo's behaviour on a Leopard. If you install OOo 2.4.1, be sure to update Leopard and X11 OOo 3 beta: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/aqua.html OOo 2.4.1: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11-104.html (or http://www.openoffice.org/ and http://download.openoffice.org/index.html ) X11 updates: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/Releases Success! -- Guy using dutch OOo Aqua Beta 3.0.0 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and brazilian OOo Aqua Beta 3.0.0 on an Intel MacBook Pro Leopard -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
