?? That seems like a natural for a spreadsheet. I've literally done it hundreds of times in Excel and see no reason for it not to work in Calc but I haven't gotten around to those conversions yet. Or if you need the capabilities of Writer, put the formulae in Calc and link to them from Writer. It might take some sandbox time but it certainly seems viable in Writer/Calc or just Calc or Calc with Writer links even; depends on which one is heavier. That's my 2 ยข anyway.
