I'm not sure about the variables - but F2 opens the formula dialogue, even in Writer. Can't check at the moment - pressed for time - but I'm [almost] sure this can be done - I'm almost sure variables could be defined in a dialogue box somewhere; but I forget where offhand, and have never had to reference them in this way. (Hey - for example, hidden sections can depend on a set variable. Maybe there's enough of a hint??????? Otherwise I'll poke around come Monday.) -- Permission for this mail to be processed by any third party in connection with marketing or advertising purposes is hereby explicitly denied. http://www.scottsonline.org.uk lists incoming sites blocked because of spam [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
