I'm in favour of it becoming Visio-like

Why does it have to be like any Microsoft program? Why can it not be itself - an OOo module that can draw things for use either in itself or in the other OOo modules? Why this constant need to make it "like Visio", "like publisher"?

I use OOo largely because I like it, and I loathe Office in all its incarnations. The fact that OOo is cheap is an added bonus - but I would use it anyway. If I want Microsoft lookalikes, I'll get Microsoft.

OK that is just seriously taking what I said out of context. I just don't know what you call 'Visio/Dia/Kivio'-like programs. And I only mentioned Publisher because thats what I'm forced to use at work, but since I'm remaking the brochures/leaflets I'm after something else.

This isn't about copying MS and I never said that.
