Two points. Firstly we are OpenOffice users trying to help other
openoffice users. There is no telephone support.
Secondly it is not wise to send a telephone number to a support group
that will be indexed in many places on the web. I have blanked out your
phone number on this reply.
You do not tell me what operating system you are using or what type of
connection you have to the internet. We would recommend you use a
broadband net connection. To download openoffice using dialup is very slow.
To download OpenOffice suite in US English for Windows use the url
http://www.openoffice.org/ and click on the phrase "I want to download
OpenOffice.org." This will reveal a large green button. Click the button
and you will start the download.
The downloaded will be suitable for Vista as well as XP and will need to
be installed. To install double-click the downloaded file and it will
lead you through a number of screens that will help you install OpenOffice.
Once installed a new folder will apear in your >start >Programs
"OpenOffice.org 2.4" and in that folder you have writer (word processor)
Calc (Spreadsheet) and Impress (presentation) as well as other programs.

have windows but some other operating system
