Hi Christian, friends.
Yes, that is the simpliest tool, thank you :).
But, indeed not so smart.
Talking about po/mo-tool, I use them for localisation of WP sites, but
here it is of less use, unfortunately.
The ideal solution is to have online localisation tool, thus we can
immediately produce the localisation file.
It's interesting what the SOGo developers and website maintainers think
about this? ;)
With kind regards,
Oleksa

Dear friends.
Kindly ask you to give some input, which tools are you using to localise
SOGo.
Me, I am using just plain text editor, but every time experiencing a lot
of inconveniences to find WHAT is new and should be translated.
E.g., my last translation into Ukrainian was made for the version 1.3.5,
while I found only one new sentence to be translated. I do not realise,
whether there are new ones, or no?
Also I thought about some web-interface for the translation, e.g.
available on the sogo.nu web-site. What do you think?
I used notepad++ on WIndows, which is freely available.
Pretty good solution :)
I use gedit under Linux.
How do you track the changes in Localisations from version to version? I
assume you are not starting to translate from scratches again and again?
)))
How about diff?
There are translation systems out there, but they normally need some
experience and training to use or are restricted to some file types like
po (see http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ).
Kind regards,
Christian Mack
