I find it interesting that German train service,
uses "miles" instead of kilometres for Award points. I can understand the
airline industry using miles as that is what they use when flying, but the train
distances are all in kilometres.
DB participates in mileage program "Miles & More" of Lufthansa from March 1. The mile of "Miles & More" can be added by using DB, and DB trains can be used as an award. Now it is limited to 1st class of the train of the following trains. 500 miles is added in one route. - ICE Sprinter (Frankfurt M - Muenchen / Frankfurt M - Berlin) - Metropolitan (Koeln - Hamburg) On the other hand, as an award, all trains except for a sleeper car and AutoZug can be used. Round-trip tickets of 3nd class need 15,000 miles, and 1st class 20,000miles. Reference: Lufthansa By Hisayuki HUH ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) |
