The Assembly resolves that: 1. Contracting States shall be encouraged to bring their national regulations and practices into conformity with the provisions of Annex 5, as soon as practicable; and 2. in all ICAO air navigation publications the units of measurement shall be expressed in the units specified in Annex 5 where appropriate units exist therein.
