The danger of such slow transition, Terry, is the possibility of lack of steam to carry it through. During the fiasco of the 70s and early 80s when US metrication was given a boost, those who partially converted went back to FFUs when they saw there was no point in continuing. Let's hope to God that Washington Post have the guts to stick to Celsius no matter what. Mike
