Stan:

This is not a list, but a reference database of thousands of foods. For every
food, detailed nutritional info is listed, including energy in both calories
and joules.

You can also download the database is a variety of formats for use on your own
computer.

The list of energy content was the SI equivalent of calories for many foods:
veggies, meat, foul, fish, drinks and others. It was not the conversion factor.

About a year ago someone provided a long list of energy units for quantities of
food in SI rather than in calories.
Would you please send that list to me so I may recommend its use?

How could the list be long?

There is only one energy unit in SI the joule (J).

Of course multiples like kilojoules (kJ) etc. may be used, but that till leaves
a pretty short list.
