Good point. However, the 2000 cal applies to Bangladesh. I just came from a 
cruise vacation, and the DV on the ship must have been 20 MJ, not 8400 kJ :-). 
I have never seen such a prevalence of elderly, obese people. 

In line with that, only the few thin ones were seen on the stairs (instead of 
in elevators) and in the gym. We soon learn to recognize each other.

For the US, a realistic DV ought be set at 10 MJ. Or more! :-)

      It's a nice list.  Perhaps you could include the equivalent factor for 
2000 calories in remarks since it's the commonly used human standard daily 
intake.  I believe it's 8400 kJ for 2000 calories
