speaking of web servers and hosting...
i'm about to get DSL. i'm pretty sure that i'm going to go with
XMission. i'm pretty sure that i get (at least) one static IP with
their basic package.
i own my own domain. if a DNS point my domain to my XMission static IP,
wouldn't it work to run my own webserver out of my apartment? assuming
that i keep the traffic low?
does XMission/DSL providers have rules against this?
what other options (if any) are there for hosting a webserver out of
your house?
