In theory, yes.  I know people that have done other things like an ssh server.

Xmission, I don't think so.  And I know people that have done it via Qwest DSL 
and another ISP.  That is how knine.net used to be hosted.  Now it's hosted 
via a Sprint Broadband connection.

The Sprint thing I just mentioned works.  We have three domains running off of 
a machine behind me.  I think Art does his through his cable modem.... Art?
