As I understand it, the church doesn't care one wit about facial hair, unless you're acting in a official representative capacity, such as a Missionary or General authority. And I can see their point -- can you imagine the sister missionaries w/ beards? I wouldn't let them in . . .
Now some of the church _schools_ care about facial hair, but not the church. A 21 year-old with a full beard is welcome to take the sacrament, hold the priesthood, chase the single women and marry them in the temple, etc. Dave >>> Really? I can't wait to get older then.
