I use the double spring and I've tossed the half disc, the pull on the lever was alittle stiff, but when I converted to a -4 s.s. line and dot 5 fluid, it seemed easier and had a quicker release, I'm 48 and can drive in downtown traffic all day and it doesn't bother my hand.
