Yamaha must have a secret on this one.I ran into the same problem when I
installed new rims.Wound up putting new bearings in.The bearings are not
sealed for a reason.The speedo drive coupling needs to run in grease.Thats
why on at least the left side you need to use an open bearing and external
seal.As far as removing them there just isn't enough of a lip to drive them
out with the spacer in place.Don,Paul or anyone run into this before?Special
