Hi clever guys!
This morning I took my bike out from the garage (underground parking) and after having
installed the totally free flow dual oval canisters from TBR, I changed the needle
position to the fourth notch as Dynojet S7K recommends and screwed on the K&N
individual filters. I have to explain that my bike was running on Laser street legal
modified pipes (without the end restriction), standard filter box with K&N filter and
the S7K. Sound was rather "barky", but performance was outstanding.

Now my sound is more like a Ducati when idling and rather loud from there on. On the
road the engine is almost dead. I mean that if before I was having difficulties in
keeping the hands on the bars due to acceleration, it now behaves more like a soft
twin. No flat spots, it's all flat all the way as plain as a pancake. Over 8000 rpm it
behaves as if I had run out of fuel. WHAT IS HAPPENING???

Plenty of inlet free flow, 175 main jets (same as before), tons of free flow from the
pipes (before, putting your hand in front of the exhaust outlet would make you barely
feel the exhaust gas coming out, now every time a cylinder fires you get a direct hit
or blow on your hand, kind of a "POW-POW" if you know what I mean). Even standing a
five feet from the rear of the bike, you feel each blow on your jeans....

But that is all; accelerating from standing still you can watch the revs going up,
very soft pull and as you come to 7-8K you feel the engine dying as if you had pulled
on the back brake.

I do not know where I stand, no idea if I'm rich or lean, have not made a plug test
due to being so baffled..... (I could not have picked a better word).

Please I need all the help I can get from you, since right now I would not even dare
to challenge a Virago from the traffic lights, but mind you with the frightening sound
that the TBR make I don't think anyone wants to give it a try.

Best regards, Charles ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] )
