Double D stands for Double Diaphram. Yes you do need to get a second
diaphram spring, that's the idea of the upgrade to stiffen the clutch. You
also need to install a larger retaining ring to hold the two springs in
place. I got mine from Robert Dees, don't remember email. I think Don smith
