Thanks Stan. A couple more runs and I know I will get the times down. I'm not really 
interested
in wearing out my Max at the strip but once in a while it's great fun. I agree with 
your
comment about the 4000-4500 launch, I did it once and hit the throttle too soon and 
went 3 feet
or so skyward, so I knew the method was wrong.
Throttle control is everything while tearing through the twisties, but come drag race 
day,
clutch control gets the results.
