Would be great fun I think .... and something different for a change
... In Denver they used to, (and I guess they still do), have one
Saturday in the year that was especially for motorcycles. Performance
Motorcycle used to bring their dyno on wheels ... you could get a
freebee dyno ... and there was usually a decent vendor turn out. I
guess I need to check out the event schedule for Bike Week here in
Phoenix ... they might be doing something like this already and I
don't even know it ....
You have to watch out though ... we have a guy here in the NEDRA,
(National Electric Drag Racing Association), that is running 10.3 on
an electric bike at Firebird ... sigh ... and of course there is a
girl that runs a bike called "Kawashocki", (naturally these are
referred to as "Current Eliminators" etc ..), fortunately .. other
than the one 10 second bike ... the rest are running 13 seconds plus.
There is a battery powered dragster here though that runs in the 8s at
147 mph ....... hmmmmmm ... what next ..... No threat though .. they
have to re-charge between runs .. If you see them fooling around in
the pit area with a screwdriver you need pull your welding glasses
down .... ;>)
