Paul, on your tips page, you talk about sliding the fork tubes up the
clamps 1/2 - 1".  On '93 and newer, isn't there a machined recess where
it attaches to the top clamp or is the fork tube uniform in diameter
throughout its entire length?  I've been delaying the installation of my
Progressive 418 rear shocks because 1) I haven't purchased the spring
kit for the front yet and 2) I'm not too excited about taking apart my
fork tubes.
