Rick,
        I have the race tech lowering kit w/ emulators (1" lower)
and also have my forks up another .5". It shortens your trail on
your front wheel and quickens up the steering a bit. It's not 
a dramatic difference though. As far as changing the front-
rear geometry I haven't noticed anything and doubt it's enough
to matter....
        Just so you know the Race tech lowering kit comes w/ 
all you need to lower your front end either 1" or 2". It uses
longer rebound springs to replace the stock. If you want to
lower 2" you use both stock + the racetech rebound springs.
The kit also comes with the emulators, fork springs, and spacer 
material....although i think their spacer material is too small
of diameter.
