Paul, what affect exactly does sliding the fork tubes up in their clamps
provide? As a result of this does it end up lowering of the front end
respectively(1/2" - 1")?
The reason I ask is because I currently have my '95 apart to polish all of
the aluminum(including the forks assy.). Since I had them apart I was going
to go ahead and upgrade the suspension via the Race Tech Emulators\ Springs
kit. I was also thinking of incorporating a lowering kit while I was at it,
however I didn't want to comprise ride-ability etc.
If in fact I can install the Emulators\ Springs kit and simply slide up the
tube in the clamp and improve performance without compromising ride-ability
then I think I found an all around great solution.
If my thinking is correct, would it also be necessary to shorten the length
of rear shocks (again respectively to the front end) so as to not throw off
and pre-engineered geometry...?
I also only weight 150lbs.(hosed down) :) if that's a factor on which Fork
setup I should purchase(race tech/progressive).
Hope these aren't lame questions
Thanks for any insight
Rick
