Hi,

Keeping the rear at stock height, moving the forks up in the triple clamps
will slightly decrease the rake angle and reduce trail. This increases
responsiveness, reduces steering effort and, generally, makes the bike more
"flickable" (although calling Mr. Max flickable in any guise is a stretch),
all at the expense of high speed stability, and ground clearance. (Although
granted, the clearance thing is not much of an issue unless you're using the
Max offroad...

If you are using the bike offroad I want to meet you....Say, anybody know
where I can get knobbies for my Vmax?

You might have to shorten the sidestand to keep Mr. Max from falling over,
however, but probably not for a half inch change.)

Best,
Sat Tara
