It's really easy.  All you need is a "numbered" drill set  1 to 60 is the
norm.   Mikuni jet sizes are typically a metric equivelant of a mm.  For
instance a 160 jet would typically be 1.6 mm or about .070 inches. This has
always been the case with every mikuni I have ever worked on.  I have not done
the Max carbs this way.....didn't have too but I would not hesitate to do so if
I had major changes to do.  Good luck!
