I can't say for the condition but, you might find some
bikes for sale @ www.sayegh.org there is a bulletin
board there where you find some others to compare and
contrast.  

As for repairs and such, I have an 86 that I have not
had to put any major repairs into.  (clutch just
recently, cost:$60.00)  

Now if you want to customize the Mr MAX it is not the
cheapest Ride you will find (as I'm sure many here can
attest, but the rewards are worth it.
