No flame Gary, but just for comparison I have to say that my PCW solid
mounts are great! True, I don't have a comparison say in a stepwise fashion
of bracing the frame, then the swingarm, gusseting, then the mounts etc. to
see the effect of EACH, but as a total package the difference is night and
day, and I DON'T have a problem with hand numbing vibration...maybe because
all of it was done. The vibration seriously is a non-issue. True the mirrors
are useless above 5k rpm, but hell my mirrors are mostly eye candy anyway
and I've gotten to be able to make out the blur as I look at the reflection
under my armpit. What's that? Don't matter if it ain't flashin!
Personally I like the feel of what vibration there is. It goes with the
sound and the burbles and grunts, the noise of the Keihin slides, and the
bored engine, the rich sound of the exhaust as you get on and off the
throttle, the "HOT ROD" nature of it all. Hey be "cruiser dude" or "sport
dude" or just a "bike dude", the V-Max above all has CHARACTER, maybe to me
the vibration just adds to it.
Respectfully,
Dave
