There seems to be a lot of questions lately about how to safely support a
Vmax that has had the center stand removed when working on it. I modified a
scissor jack to fit the hinge tabs that previously mounted the center stand
on my Max. It is an easy one-man job to raise the bike and it is super
stable (and best of all it was cheap!). If you would like picures detailing
construction contact me privately. I will also send them to Paul, if he
thinks they are useful enough maybe he will put them on the pics site.
