Mario,
The only reason I suggested that Kurt "do the routine" is because
recently I was observing a large group of people over on the "cruiser"
forum I visit ... all getting angry because Yamaha was giving them the
"I never heard of it routine" when they called California, (these were
cam knocks ... and apparently affecting just about everyone once they
got enough mileage). They assumed that since the problem they had was
being discussed on the forum and so many people had it that Yamaha and
all the dealers must have know about it ...... sooooooo .. they were
forming a mob and talking about bombing the people with letters and
email etc ... Come to find out ... that out of 35+ complaints .. that
only three had actually "officially" contacted their dealer or Yamaha
...... no record was being made even when they called California ...
they were just told to "take it to the dealer" ... the the dealer
would contact them if they weren't capable of resolving the problem on
their own. Then of course ... half of them did that and was blown off
by some losers in the dealer's service departments ..........
sooooooooooo ... as soon as everyone laid a letter on their respective
dealer then it was like the world exploded ........ It was also
getting dangerously close to warranty timeout for some of these people
because they had never drove the stake in the ground with their letter
........
