Mike, what kind of torch have you used? A Propane won't generate enough
heat quick enough. Something you can still try and it will help the
crank, also. Put it in the freezer for 8-10 hours. As soon as you take
it out have a aceteylene torch and puller ready. If it has a Rose Bud
use it. Just put heat on flywheel and let the crank warm up by itself.
The cold treatment on the crank will help strengthen it. A old trick
done on car cranks and axles, it works. Also on the puller, make sure
the bolts are at least grade 8, 8.8 or 10 is better if you ca fnd them.
Stock puller bolts are soft and will stretch.
