Hi all! Im trying to pull my flywheel off. I broke 2 wheel pullers by
driving the all-thread into the swivel. With out the swivel action, the
center pin (used to replace the bolt) turns inwards causing the puller to
seat to the drum. In other words, a complete disaster.
I bought sears craftsman puller and I borrowed one. Both are junk now.
I used stronger bolts to attach the puller to the flywheel. I tried heat to
the drum with a torch also, no luck there either. I will shop for a quality
wheel puller tomorrow but would like a couple more tips on doing this job.
Would it hurt if I pull while smacking the drum with a hammer??
Thanks for any more tips. I read the mail through the archives so I will be
unsubscribing, I will see all the replies in advance.

I would rather do 5 motor mount mods before I try this fix again.

Always something Paul
