Since both surfaces are softer alloys you could use a metal file instead of
grinding.

I had trying to get the SuperBrace to fit down on the fork legs. So does
this mean grind off some of the material inside the radius that mates to

legs? I can make scrap out of good parts in a hurry with a grinder so am

Try using a file, that's what I did.
