    If you are not leaking the oil it must be burning off through the
engine . You have two choices . Take it to the dealer & fight for a
warranty or reduced cost repair or continue to try to find the problem
yourself . If you continue to look yourself the clock is ticking in
regardes to warrantee time . I would remove the aux. tank system & take
it to the dealer . To me a 1200 cc engine that is about a year old, less
than 10,000
miles, & uses a qt. in a 1000 miles is a factory problem .
You are in for a fight though . To prove this is going to take some time
. Before you go to the dealer change the oil to the factory recommended
brand and weight and install a factory filter if you are using an
aftermarket filter .
Do not let them know that you have ever used anything else . They look
for ways to throw their hands up and say Oh WELL you didn't follow the
recommended maintainence procedures .It does not cost any money to try .
