Hi folks,
Just back from my holidays and have finally set-up my SPA tacho/speedo, but even
though the unit's booklet is very clear I must have done something wrong while
calculating the front wheel's dia.
The reason for this statement is because on my last stretch of highway, about 300
miles or so, I was not overtaken by a single car while doing 80 miles per hour
(according to my SPA unit) and as far as I can remember I could get higher speeds in
fourth gear than in fifth, but not I am absolutely lost.
I was constantly over 9500rpm in fourth gear (9800) and what I need to know now is
what kind of speed you are doing in that speed and those revs.
I really enjoy my SPA unit since it is so obvious compared to the tiny weenie thing
the bike has, that I even discarded the installation of a rev limiter I already
purchased, for the three lights on the SPA are guiding me better than anything else
into avoiding to get into troublesome areas. First the green light telling me I'm
reaching the 8000 mark, then the yellow at 9000 and finally the red doing 9.5K. Of
course you decide what each light tells you by adjusting the set-up, as an example you
can put the green or yellow so it tells you when the V-boost comes in, it's up to
you......
I'm still lost anyway.
Pls advice.
